2. Downfall will be the main impediment to speed on advanced courses. Usually mapped as undergrowth- slow running. It is generally well mapped and usually avoidable depending on route choice. However, some patches do not appear on the map. |

5. The northern third of the mapped terrain is speckled with these beautiful rounded volcanic boulders. In the southern portion the rock features are more decomposed shale-like formations. |

6. Some of the more distinct isolated clearings serve as control features. The numerous open areas that mottle the map usually have boundaries too vague for controls but will often be the only navigational features. |
